Jarvis Enactus students attend

Jarvis Christian College Enactus students D’Antea Allen, a freshman majoring in marketing and the team’s CEO; Charles Lauder, a sophomore marketing major; John Davis, a sophomore accounting major; and Ches Talley who is the team’s advisor and Sam M. Walton Free Enterprise Fellow, attended the Enactus U.S.A. Fall Leadership Conference held at the Enactus World Headquarters in Springfield, MO on October 25 -26, 2013.
The conference, designed to prepare students for leadership roles in Corporate America, was attended by students from 28 universities including Purdue University, Indiana University, Truman State University, Flagler College, Illinois State University and Iowa State University.
The line-up of speakers included Todd Tillemans, Vice President of Unilever; Sharon Orlopp, Vice President of Walmart; Ralph Doran, Director of Talent Management at Stanley Black & Decker; and Rosa dela Resma, Director of University Relations at The Clorox Company. According to Ches Talley, “The Enactus Leadership Conference inspired our students to excel in academics and to use the power of entrepreneurial action to transform lives and shape a better more sustainable world.”
