OUTREACH PROJECT EXAMPLE: 

NEED: To make students aware that environmental protection is now an integral component of our shared global economic system.

ACTION: SPC SIFE designed last year’s successful Mock G8 Economic Summit as an interactive introduction to the principles of a global free market economy for local high school students.  Now, with general agreement that environmental degradation and climate change are problems so immense and so immediate that they can no longer be ignored, a new principle of the global free market has emerged – responsibility for the environment – and the Team decided to make this new principle the theme of our second Mock Economic Summit. 

SIFE is a global, non-profit organization that is literally changing the world through highly dedicated student teams on more than 1600 university campuses in 40 countries.

SIFE offers these students the opportunity to develop leadership, teamwork, and communication skills through learning, practicing, and teaching the principles of free enterprise.   

Supported by businesses around the globe, SIFE teams teach important concepts through educational outreach projects offering vital information concerning market economics, entrepreneurship, success skills, financial literacy and business ethics.
